My Final Words for 2017
Greetings and Happy New Year’s Eve! I have really enjoyed the last two weeks, celebrating Christmas and birthdays with family. Due to the fact that both Christmas and New Year’s Day fall on a Monday, my holiday vacation time has been extra long.
As much as I love Christmas time, it can be a stressful time of year. Closing out the year at work while preparing for taking time off, makes extra work. Also, preparing for guests at home, and meal planning keeps me busy, too.
Over the last 9 days, I have not thought much about work. I haven’t been blogging or writing, or even done much posting on social media. It’s been really nice just to relax and be completely present with my family; something I needed very much.
Since this is the last day of 2017, I wanted to let you all know that I am thinking about you. You should know that I truly appreciate your support. I love my tribe, my clients, and my readers, and I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year!
I feel that 2018 will be a year of transition for many people—myself included. Constantly striving for better and to do better, I am continually evolving. I feel that all my hard work is going to really produce some fruit this next year. I know many of you feel the same way.
I am not going to write my typical blog today; I am going to enjoy the last couple of days off before I get back into my regular routine. Since most of the country is being affected by a strong cold-front, I want to share a wonderful recipe for a hot and satisfying breakfast.
The recipe is for Coffee Cacao Porridge. It is so yummy that it would make a great treat anytime of the day. Coffee and chocolate are perfect together in this rich, warm and satisfying dish; it would be a shame to limit it to breakfast.
I hope you enjoyed the Carrot Cake Oatmeal Bake recipe that I sent out last week. Let me know what you thought of it; I would love to hear from you.
Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! Stay warm and stay safe. If you go out tonight, be careful on the road. If you toast the New Year, make sure you have a designated driver. I want to see you all in 2018 happy, healthy, and full of life!
2 Corinthians 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
